Aden and Jamie were even good sports while I picked out one to adopt.  While driving cross county, we stopped to visit with my Aunt Kathy, Uncle Doug, and cousin Christopher in Chicago.  They were great tour guides and Aden enjoyed his first train ride into the Big City.  Kathy and I “experienced” the American Girl Museum, while the boys took in the other wonderful sites of the city.

We also had our first camping trip this year with Aden’s Cub Scout troop.  For those of you who think Florida is too hot, try sleeping in a tent in 40-degree temperatures and taking a shower outside!  I passed on the shower, but Jamie was a trooper and gave it a try!  Burr! We have another trip planned in January and I am sure it will be so much warmer by then!  Ha!

Aden is in Cub Scouts and Tae Kwon Do this year and is a happy 2nd grader.  Time just flies!
